Outback Next Bike Trailer

Outback Next is an upgraded version of Outback with several improvements. It has four seat positions instead of three, a luggage capacity of 8 kg instead of 5 kg, a pneumatic stroller wheel with suspension and directional lock, a wider suspension adjustment range, a new folding mechanism with a lock and a replaceable outer cover. Outback is still a spacious and comfortable multisport trailer, and its all-terrain wheel features an integrated hand-operated disc brake.

The maximum weight per child is 22 kg, and the maximum height is 117 cm. This applies to all Hamax child bike trailers. Children can sit in a child bike trailer once they can sit upright without support, usually at around 6 months of age. It is important that the child can sit independently and has good head and neck control.

Until then, you can use a baby seat in the trailer for stroller walks – not for cycling.

Outback Next has the largest luggage capacity, with space for up to 8 kg behind the seats. Outback, Traveller and Avenida can carry up to 5 kg of luggage. Breeze has a detachable backpack with a capacity of up to 2 kg, while Cocoon has a detachable bag with a capacity of up to 2 kg. The combined weight of children and luggage must always remain within the trailer’s permitted maximum load.

A Hamax double trailer can accommodate either one baby seat and one child in the trailer’s regular seat, or two baby seats side by side. Remember that the baby seat must only be used when the trailer is in stroller mode – not when cycling or jogging. The combined weight must remain within the trailer’s permitted maximum load.
